Fleur de Lune is Market of Stars’ luminous tribute to creative dreams — inspired by moonlit gardens where imagination blooms. This opulent print combines magnolia lithographs from 18th- and 19th-century natural history books, hand-coloured engravings of pears and figs, and delicate moths (including the ethereal luna moth) from an 1894 etching. Tiny golden bumblebees along the trim are borrowed from an embossed Victorian book cover.
The background is deeply personal to Danielle, the artist behind Market of Stars. It features a photograph of the top of her own 150-year-old work table — layered with paint smudges, traces of past prints, and whispers of inspiration from the artists who came before her.
