About the Print – Born to Run
All good things are wild and free. This spirited print celebrates adventure, freedom, and the call of the open road. At its heart are two rearing racehorses by British painter George Stubbs, capturing untamed energy and strength. Surrounding them is a rich collage of antique elements — a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, faded florals and golden wheat from an 1800s farmer’s diploma, and delicate pen-and-ink stars and horseshoes from the same era.

Vintage banners inscribed with rebellious phrases like “Don’t Fence Me In” add a bold western edge, while a prancing mare and foal bring a sense of joy, connection, and freedom. The entire design is framed with a washed heritage plaid, reminiscent of sun-faded chambray and wide-open skies.
